Newham Renewal Programme

The Newham Renewal Programme mission is to stand alongside disadvantaged people so that they may be enabled to take their rightful place in society. To do this they utilise a lot of programmes and centres to put out their vision and their resources on those in need. Some of their many functions include: community service, youth work, training, carers support, advice, advocacy, accommodation for youth and college work.We have particular links with their Refugee and Migrant Programme’ (RAMP) and every year we hold a Barn Dance at Hall Barn to raise funds for them as well as welcoming many of those supported by their project for a Away Day in the May half term.  There is always the opportunity to offer good quality second hand clothes and other essentials which are always welcomed by them. The Newham Renewal Programme has been in operation for over 40 years and they plan to continue their good work for many years to come.

Sharon International Ministries

The School started 2008 in Gullipalli, a rural part of Andhra Pradesh, a state in South East India.   The school provides free education and uniforms to children of the poorest and lowest castes.  Our links with the school began over 10 years ago when Dr Sam, the School’s director and founder visited St Michael’s Church.  A close friendship began with two members of the congregation there, Tom & Sheila Holyer, and the links have grown since then.
